"Quotation, n: The act of repeating erroneously the words of another." - Ambrose Bierce, The Unabridged Devil's Dictionary
We all love quotes - from movies, books, people we've met. For some reason, they're just loads of fun and can even turn into principles that we live by; that we even structure our entire life and our philosophy around. Quote Wall is a collection of my favorite quotes - and other people's favorite quotes. Some are thoughtful, some are silly, some are random, some are sad.
"When you laugh, laugh like hell. And when you get angry, get good and angry. Try to be alive. You will be dead soon enough." - William Saroyan
"The only real failure is the failure to try, and the measure of success is how we cope with disappointment." - Deborah Moggach, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel
"Every grain of experience is food for the greedy growing soul of the artist." - Anthony Burgess
"With freedom, books, flowers, and the moon, who could not be happy?" - Oscar Wilde
"Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read." - Groucho Marx
